Fugawee tribe

Today my colleague told me about his NS days. In particular about his TOPO class. His PC (read: platoon commander) said this to them before starting the lesson.

PC: Today you all are attending TOPO class. You all had better pay attention & learn every single detail about it or you can all join the Fugawee tribe.

Class: ??? (everybody's lost... obviously)

PC: Don't know what is Fugawee tribe? When you all are lost in the jungle & none of you can read the map, you will all be going "Where the FUCK ARE WE?"

End of a good year, beginning of a better one

There it was, 2006. Overall a good year for me. Earnestly looking forward to 2007 being even better!

Started work today for the new year. Visited 4 sites today. All their equipments had problems after shutting down for the long weekend. Some had vacuum issues while there are those that shut down & cant start up again. Nevertheless, nothing we can't solve.

Ended the day by checking today's Big Sweep & 4D results. Nowhere close to any winning numbers for our Big Sweep ticket. But I almost fainted when I saw the 4D 1st prize numbers. 0314. My Delicate Delicacy & I had bought the numbers 1440, 12 permutations & we were just 1 number short of winning! We'd never had much luck with lotteries but we just decided to try our luck anyway.

Personally I bought another set of numbers. My dad's car license plate number. I bought 12 permutations for it as well & it opened starters prize! It isn't much but the feeling of winning lottery is just great! What a great start for the new year!
