大黄的成诺

As I had promised 大黄 I will do her up nicely since winning 4D, I had both her tires & fork seals changed the day after I returned from Bangkok. Not only that, I had bought 2 cans of paint. A bright yellow & a clear lacquer.

While waiting for the mechanic to start work on her, I stripped off the rusty parts mainly being the 2 rear shock protectors & the IU rack. I scraped off the rust with a metal wire brush & cleaned them with petrol before washing with soap & water. After drying it under the hot sun, I sprayed all 3 items bright yellow! 3 coats of yellow & 2 coats of lacquer. Now the only thing left to do is to clean off the stains on the end can. I had previously tried to wash it off but to no avail. Maybe I'll try autosol the next time.

Bangkok trip -- 4th to 8th October 2007

I am back from my Bangkok trip with my better half. As usual the main topic was shopping, shopping & more shopping! But surprisingly this time round she bought lesser stuff as compared to our Hongkong trip back in May.

Overall it was still a pleasant trip for myself as I truly love Thailand. Perhaps almost everything about there, not including the language barrie though.

Before we left for Bangkok on 4th October 2007, we had promised each other to take more pictures. We failed to do so yet again. I think it was simply a case of selective amnesia. I guess I conveniently chose to forget I had brought a digital camera there. But still, there are pictures that I hold precious memories to.

I shall leave my Delicate Delicacy to blog about the trip since she was the 1 who had a real good time shopping.
