Cambridge 11th - 26th Jan

I'll be on course in Cambridge, UK from 13th to 25th Jan. It isn't exactly the time of the year to my preference as it is fooking cold during this period of time. I've bought my winter wear & my sweetie has made me a super warm scarf, but somehow I feel all these will not be able to keep the cold out. I hope I don't get frostbites...

The people around me all seem enthusiastic about this trip to UK. All except me. They are all asking me to extend my stay there & tour Europe. Hello! UK is using Sterling Pounds! That's SGD$3+ to £$1! I'd rather save up the allowance for a place where the odds are to my benefit.

Ok, the original plan was 1 engineer each from Singapore, Thailand & China attending this course. Some how the training was re-structured to cater for 2 engineers only. So the Thai engineer was kicked off the wagon. But up till today, the China engineer's visa is yet to be approved. So there is a possibility I'll be the only person going for the course! I'm pretty sure not many people enjoy travelling to a land so far away & spend 2 weeks all by him/herself. But if you know that China engineer's character, I'm 101% sure you'd prefer to be there alone too! He is so... just so... argh! I can't even find the correct word to describe him. He is just so damn irritating!

I hope he doesn't get the visa. I hope he cant go. I hope to have at least some peace of mind when I'm there... Peace...
