Dinner

Alexy called me at abt 645pm & I hurried down to the bar to meet them. They were having another beer while David was checking out the menu. Alexy ordered the ostrich burger while David & I both had the steak on the stone. I was already very hungry & the thought of having beef only made me hungrier!

The waiter came shortly with a chunk of beef on a hot stone & he advised us it was nicer to cut it a piece at a time & cook it to our liking. To be honest, the stone was too hot! I really had to gobble down the beef before it was overcooked. It was really heavenly. The first half was really juicy & tender while the remaining bit was a little medium done. But overall it was still a great steak! I really enjoyed it!

In fact, I was craving for more of it but I know I can't possibly stomach another slab of beef. Too bad for me. As the saying goes, you can't have too much of a good thing. Sigh...
